Australia, Scott #1289 (Stanley Gibbons #1460), used (o), 1994, Wildlife Series, Second Issue, stamp shows a Mother Kangaroo and her Joey, 45 cents, typography printed by Cambec Press Proprietary of Melbourne, serpentine die cut simulated perforations: 11¼, issued with non-water soluble gum, no watermark, phosphorus on upper and lower frame panels, orange lettering and orange lower panel, Scott 2019 catalog value: 75¢. Nicely centered, light, black-inked, horizontal, duplex cancellations, from left to right, a multi-line cancellation on the lower left leading to a single-rimmed, three quarter circular, socked-on-the-nose cancellation on the lower middle of the stamp, however the lightness of the cancels leave the main image remarkably clear, good perforations, stamp was removed from its mailing envelope using the Bestine solvent and placed on a piece of black card stock for an attractive and uniform album appearance; mounting, centering, and image clear cancel warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch' offer; the stamp you see will be the one you receive.
