Turquoise blue faience shabti for Nes-min
This outstanding piece with original glaze is 10,7 cm tall.
The facial features on this piece are in incredible condition.
The face, eyes, nose, ears, false beard and hands crossed mummiform over the chest are all clear.
He wears a lapped wig, carries a sulk and hoe, and has a nicely defined back dorsal pilar.He has a well defined seed sack over the left shoulder.
The shabti displays a single row of clear and distinct hieroglyphs down the front, along with the pick and hoe, typical of the period for work in the afterlife.
The hieroglyphs read:"May he be illuminated, the Osiris, Nes-min, the true of voice"
